Wear Purple Day
The girls and I wore purple on 10/20 in support of anti-bullying. Purple is Ingrid's favorite color, anyway, so it was an easy sell.

Willa’s Aunt Julie brought her her first ‘honey blanket,’ a fleece snuggler with satin binding (Ingrid’s has letters, which in hindsight was totally appropriate, and is well loved). It was perfect timing, as Willa has started playing peek a boo with us, and the honey blanket was ideal for such a game. Also, according to Willa, the blanket is very tasty, too.
Like we couldn't predict this! Willa is looooving her Daddy lately. In one of these pics, I can clearly see her future "GO AWAY MOM!" face — very similar to the one that Ingrid's perfected over the years. My girls are so lucky to have such a great dad.
Dave had to work so it was just me and the girls at Amy's wedding. Thanks to Audrey for holding my camera when she wasn't holding my baby!
Ingrid colored a picture for Willa, and then found her two hats from last winter, and wanted to match.
When I was getting ready for work the other morning, I plopped Willa down with Ingrid, and they were both very excited by that, so I left them there. Ingrid is a great big sister.
Today was the family potluck for our daycare & preschool. It’s held at our neighborhood park, so we walk down, and Ingrid had a blast this year.
Ingrid filled a bucket with dirt, water, and a flower… for Willa. Willa enjoyed it a little too much, and may have ingested her first solid food, if dirt counts as a solid food, as a result.
Then we moved to the other playset, where she continued to amaze us with her new skills…
Willa and I hung out and watched Ingrid and Daddy at the park!
