Open house!

Ingrid got to show us her classroom and we got to meet her teacher this afternoon. She is one of fifteen students ( a GREAT ratio!) and directly across the hall from the library, and she’s already met the librarian, of course. They misspelled her name on some stuff ( like the name tag we had to bring home) so I hope they learn it soon. It’s just part of having our name, so I’m sure this isn’t the last time!

Crumple Part 3

Ingrid helped make and enjoy a pie, she mastered the outhouse (see her in that pic?) and she signed the log — the log has been going for more than 36 years, and she and Kate looked through old entries and found stories about me when I visited CI at five, too. I wish I could’ve been there for her first trip, but I am so glad her Aunt Kate was if I couldn’t be. She saw seals and dolphins and found “lots of crab parts!” and came home with a bag of treasures. I can’t wait to go with her.
